Jessica Brown (born 1971) is a British artist known for her captivating artworks. Her craftmanship and skill are rooted in her study of art and art history, which she began while staying with her grandfather in Rome (where he was based with UNESCO). Brown has exhibited with Quantum Contemporary Art since 1997, and her works reflect her unique perspective and creative vision.

Donald Hamilton Fraser (1929-2009) was a British painter known for his abstract landscape paintings and his involvement in the British Abstract Expressionist movement of the 1950s and 1960s. 

Fraser was born in Glasgow, Scotland and studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London. He began his career as a figurative painter, but later turned to abstraction, focusing on the landscape as a source of inspiration. Fraser was known for his bold, gestural brushstrokes and his use of vibrant colors, which conveyed the energy and movement of the natural world. 

He had numerous solo exhibitions during his career and his work is held in public and private collections around the world, including the Tate Gallery in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Edward Seago (1910-1974) was a British painter known for his landscape and marine paintings. He was born in Norwich, England and studied at the Norwich School of Art and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Seago traveled extensively throughout his career, visiting many different countries and painting the landscapes and seascapes he encountered along the way. He was known for his attention to detail and his ability to capture the mood and atmosphere of his subjects. 

Seago was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and had numerous solo exhibitions during his career. His work is held in public and private collections around the world, including the Tate Gallery in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

John Elwyn (British, 1916-1997)

John Elwyn (1916-1997) was a British painter known for his landscapes and marine scenes. He was born in London and studied at the Royal Academy Schools and the Slade School of Fine Art. Elwyn was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and had numerous solo exhibitions during his career. He was known for his detailed, realistic depictions of the natural world, particularly the coastline and countryside of Wales, where he lived for much of his life. 

Elwyn's work is held in public and private collections around the world, including the National Museum of Wales and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Tony Bevan paints expressive, unsettling portraits that recall the work of Lucian Freud, Frank Auerbach, and Leon Kossoff. 

Since the 1980s, Bevan has been producing unconventional self-portraits that explore physical transformation as a metaphor for feelings and other aspects of psychological and emotional life. 

Using primarily charcoal and acrylics, Bevan works directly on canvas that he lays on his studio floor. Bevan strives to prove in his work that there is more to portraiture than capturing a physical likeness.

Kenneth Howard OBE RA (26 December 1932 – 11 September 2022) was a British artist and painter. He was President of the New English Art Club from 1998 to 2003.

Ken Howard was born in London. After attending Kilburn Grammar School, he studied at the Hornsey College of Art (1949–53) and the Royal College of Art (1955–58). In 1958 he won a British Council Scholarship to Florence. In 1973 and 1978 he was the Official War Artist to Northern Ireland, and 1973–80 worked in various locations, including Hong Kong, Cyprus and Canada with the British Army. In 1983 he was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy (ARA). In 1998 he became President of the New English Art Club, a post he held until 2003. In 1991 he was elected a Royal Academician (RA).

Howard painted in a "traditional" manner, based on strong observation and a high degree of draughtsmanship combined with tonal precision. The depiction of light is a strong and recurrent element of his work. A notable theme is the nude model in his studio. Another theme is a city scene, such as Venice, with emphasis placed on the reflection of light from puddles after rain. He has said:

I was brought up in London surrounded by railway yards and factories. This has very much influenced the use of horizontal and vertical structures and lines in my work. I am not a landscape painter, but rather a vertical horizontal and linear painter, which is why I have a passion for the lines that occur within my studios, and include them in my paintings. When I study a model, I think of that figure not in rhythmical terms, but in vertical or horizontal positions and planes.

Howard's work is in public collections including the National Army Museum, Guildhall Art Gallery, Ulster Museum and Imperial War Museum. In 1989 his work was exhibited in Tenterden jointly with Ernest Greenwood and John Stanton Ward.

Howard was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honours. He died on 11 September 2022, at the age of 89.

Duncan Grant

Duncan Grant (1885-1978) was a British painter and decorative artist who was associated with the Bloomsbury Group, a collective of intellectuals, writers, and artists who were active in the early 20th century.
