Alfred Reth was an Austrian painter and graphic artist who was born in 1884 and died in 1966. He was known for his portraits and landscapes, as well as his etchings and lithographs. Reth studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and was a member of the Hagenbund, a group of artists who were associated with the city's avant-garde movement. Alson S. Clark (1876 - 1949) was an American Impressionist painter best remembered for his impressionist landscapes. Born in Chicago, Illinois, his art education included training at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Art Students League of New York, and in the atelier of William Merritt Chase. He spent much of his early career working in Paris, France. He served in the US Army as an aerial photographer during World War I. In 1920 he and his wife relocated to Pasadena, California. He taught fine art at Occidental College, and was director of the Stickney Memorial School of Art in Pasadena.
His memberships in arts organizations included the Pasadena Society of Artists and the California Art Club. His work was included in the Tonal Impressionism exhibition curated by Harry Muir Kurtzworth in 1937, along with the works of Frank Tenney Johnson, Frank Tolles Chamberlain and Theodore Lukits which was held in the Los Angeles Art Association Gallery at the Los Angeles Public Library.

Francisco Soria Aedo (1898–1965) was a Spanish figurative painter who started art in Granada at the hands of his teacher López Mezquita. He was awarded important prizes, such as the second medal at the National Exhibition of 1924 for his work Arabian types and the first at the International Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929 for his oil painting Christmas Eve in the village. He was a professor of color at the Superior School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid.

His work, which is represented in the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville and the Museum of Fine Arts of Granada, pays special attention to the representation of ordinary people from Andalusia, Castille and Morocco, focusing on rich colour and dynamic lighting. Aedo also painted scenes of classical mythology, such as of satyrs and nymphs. He is famous for his skill in depicting facial expressions, particularly broad smiles - an uncommon depiction in classical and realist art

Alfred Henry Maurer (April 21, 1868 – August 4, 1932) was an American modernist painter. 

He exhibited his work in avant-garde circles internationally and in New York City during the early twentieth century.  Highly respected today, his work met with little critical or commercial success in his lifetime, and he died, a suicide, at the age of sixty-four.

Edward Willis Redfield (1869-1965) was an American landscape painter known for his Impressionist style and his paintings of the Pennsylvania countryside. He was born in Stockton, New Jersey and grew up on a farm, which influenced his love of nature and the rural landscape. Redfield studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and later traveled to Europe to continue his studies. He returned to the United States and settled in New Hope, Pennsylvania, where he became a member of the New Hope School of landscape painters. Redfield was known for his bright, vibrant paintings of the Pennsylvania countryside, particularly the Delaware River Valley, and he became one of the leading figures of the American Impressionist movement.
