Pierre Lesieur (1922-2011) was a French painter known for his landscapes and still lifes. He was born in Paris and studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Lesieur was a member of the Société des Artistes Français and the Salon d'Automne, and his work was exhibited widely in France and internationally. He was known for his expressive brushwork and his ability to capture the mood and atmosphere of his subjects. Lesieur's work is held in several museums and private collections around the world.
